Sleep Training
Sleep training a newborn can sometimes affect breastfeeding. Newborns typically need frequent feedings, and sleep training methods can vary. We prefer to see you feed on-demand instead of on a schedule. Remember our babies have small stomachs and need frequent consistent feedings can keep your baby satisified while also establishing a good breastfeeding routine. It’s important to approach sleep training gently and keep breastfeeding needs in mind. If you have concerns, it might be helpful to consult a Pediatrician and/or a Lactation Consultant.
